POETRY

“…The qualia of our consciousnesses are as divergent as two stars at the ends of the universe. And yet… our minds manage to touch if but briefly and imperfectly. Does the thought not make the universe seem just a bit kinder? A bit brighter, a bit warmer, and more human? We live for such miracles.” ~Ken Liu

MORTAL KEEPER

Mortal Keeper –
What is it you grasp?
Will my feathers lighten your heart
Whose song, though now strong,
Will one day collapse?

Poetry: About

NO ONE

Be yourself
Hold near the safeties of dichotomies
Sip your warmth, or simply
Cup each piece of you between your hands and
Pause

TRANSLUCENT FEATHERS

Translucent feathers slice clouds

Into never-thinning grey

So that rays of dusted crimson and rose

May find a home amongst eyes

Familiar with fog stretched tight from

Sea to sky

SPACE

We hold the space between us like life itself

Until silence is felt,

Seeps through our bones

And we find our way home

Tricksters traveling amid stars

Setting embers ablaze

For star gazers

Yet, we are above the terrestrial haze
